Highlights:

Hello District 21 Toastmasters. These are exciting times! First, I would like to congratulate all of the members who competed in our Club, Area & Division Contests and thanks to the amazing leaders who did such a great job showcasing our contests. I hope you can make it on-line for our District 21 International Speech Contest April 25th. We have our Annual Business Meeting from 1-3 pm April 21st. Even if you don’t hold a club or District leadership position, feel free to sign up for the AGM.

What I am most stoked about is our in-person District Conference April 27th at the Christian Life Assembly, 21277 56 Avenue, Langley. Aside from meeting so many special friends from around the District we will witness fantastic speakers… with our morning keynote – Alan Warburton, Afternoon keynote – Region 1 Toastmaster International Director – Sondra Nunez and be entertained and learn from two incredible story tellers – Stefano Cossalter & Noel Bentley. Yes, tickets are still available; treat yourself to something special!

If you haven’t already, don’t forget your club officer elections. Start this upcoming year fully charged making your club the best it has ever been. So many opportunities to embrace our Centennial Year with fun, entertainment and inspiration. I look forward to seeing my many friends and meeting new ones. See you soon!

2024 Contest Season – only 2 more to go!

D21 members have planned, staged and practised for dozens of contests since January. Each contest takes at least 12 officials and tech support to support the courageous contestants who step up to enter the contest arena. Kudos to you all for upholding the long-standing Toastmasters contest tradition. Everyone, please come out to support our last 2 contests:

  • Saturday, April 7 – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm PDT ~ Division J HYBRID Contests
  • Thursday, April 25 – 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm PDT – District 21 ONLINE Table Topic & International Speech Contests

Hello District 21 members,

We are coming to the end of the year in Toastmasters. There is still time to share leads that you may have for NEW CLUBS. We are currently working on starting a New CLub with Charnel Izak and another with Bruce Yu , our Division Director in Victoria.
