Contest Training
For the 2023-24 Contest Season, District 21 is holding two contests:
- International Speech Contest (winner will advance to Quarter Finals)
- Table Topics Contest (finals will take place at District level)
Contest Planning
At our District Council Meeting, a vote was held to decide the format for each level of the contest: In Person, Online or Hybrid. Below are the results along with when each level should be completed by.
January – Club Contests – each club may choose its format: in person, online or hybrid
February – Area Contests – Hybrid
March – Division Contests – Hybrid
April – District Contests – Online
*Note: BOTH the District Table Topics Contest and the International Speech Contest will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, beginning at 7:00 pm PST.

Judge Training
District 21 is offering three intensive, 3 hours workshops to train Judges for this year’s contest season – whether you’re starting with club level events or supporting area, division or district level events!
If you have never been a judge, this is a great opportunity to learn from some of our finest judge trainers; if you’re a seasoned judge, this is a great opportunity to refresh your knowledge and hone your judging skills for the upcoming contest season!
