Each year the District offers several incentives to its members to win recognition and prizes. They are separated into three main categories: Member, Club, and District.
Being aware of the district incentives is a great way to plan your year and get awarded for your hard work. While most are in effect for the whole year, others are time sensitive.
As you complete each incentive, make sure you let your Club’s VP of Education know as well as the Core Team Member associated with the Incentive (IE: Club Growth Director or the Recognition Chair).
Member Incentives 2023-2024
1 & 1 - sponsor 1 new member AND complete 1 Pathways Level - $25 gift certificate
New members joining between July 1, 2023, and June 30th, 2024
Achieve one Pathway level and sponsor a new member in the 2023-2024 program year. Your name must appear on the sponsored members membership form submitted to Toastmasters International to be eligible.
(1 Education Award + 1 New Member)
**Make sure your Vice President of Membership adds your name as a sponsor on the member application form and inputs it when they register the new member on the Toastmasters’ website**
2 & 2 - sponsor 2 new members AND complete 2 Pathways Levels - $35 gift certificate
New members joining between July 1, 2023, and June 30th, 2024
Achieve two Pathway levels and sponsor 2 new members in the 2023-2024 program year. Your name must appear on the sponsored members membership form submitted to Toastmasters International to be eligible.
(2 Education Awards + 2 New Members)

Club Coach - $50 gift certificate for Toastmasters Store
Serve as a Club Coach for a minimum of 6 months and help this club to achieve Distinguished Club status by June 30th, 2024. To be appointed contact the Club Growth Director at cgd@d21tm.org
New Club Sponsor - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Successfully serve as a sponsor to a new club during the 2023-2024 program year. Contact the Club Growth Director at cgd@d21tm.org.
New Club Mentor - $50 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Be appointed to serve as a mentor to a new club during the 2023-2024 program year and fulfill a minimum 6-month term. Contact the Club Growth Director at cgd@d21tm.org.
New Member: Level 1 Completion - $10 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Members who joined Toastmasters between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, will receive this award when you complete your Level 1 award in the 2023-2024 program year. (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024). Must be filed in Club Central by June 30, 2024. Be recognized at the annual Hall of Fame event.
All Members: Path Completion - Path Specific Pin or $10 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
Complete a full path (Level 5) in the 2023-2024 program year to earn this award. Must be filed in Club Central by June 30, 2024. Be recognized at the annual Hall of Fame event. These pins will be sent to the Vice President of Education (while quantities last in Canada only). Out of Canada members will receive gift certificates. Path Specific Pin (while quantities last).
Triple Crown: 3 or more Educational Awards - Receive a Triple Crown Pin (one pin per member)
Earn three or more educational Awards in District 21 during the 2023-2024 program year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024). Must be filed in Club Central by June 30, 2024. Be recognized at the annual Hall of Fame event.
Youth Leadership Chair - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Coordinate a Youth Leadership program between July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. Report your award to the Recognition Chair via pqd@d21tm.org.
Speechcraft Chair - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Coordinate a Speechcraft program between July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024. Report your award to the Recognition Chair via pqd@d21tm.org.
Talk Up Toastmasters Membership Campaign - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Incentive is paid to the Sponsor of a new member (maximum 1 new member) added between February 1, 2024 – March 31, 2024. Cannot be combined with any other Membership incentive. Your name must appear on the sponsored members membership form and registered with Toastmasters International to be eligible.
DTM Completion - Receive a DTM Medallion and Pin
Earn your Distinguished Toastmaster designation in District 21 during the 2023-2024 program year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024). Must be filed in Club Central by June 30, 2024. Be recognized at the annual Hall of Fame event or other district in-person event.
Beat the Clock Membership Campaign - sponsor a new member - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
Incentive is paid to the Sponsor of a new member maximum 1 new member) added between May 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024. Cannot be combined with any other Membership incentive. Your name must appear on the sponsored members membership form and registered with Toastmasters International to be eligible.
Travelling Toastmaster Nomad - up to $75 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store.
Awarded to those Toastmasters who visit clubs with 12 members or less (not including home club) in District 21 between November 1, 2023, and June 30th, 2024. Send your list of clubs visited to Recognition Chair via pqd@d21tm.org.
Bronze Level = 10 visits or more to different clubs and earn: $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
Silver Level = 15 visits or more to different clubs and earn: $50 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
Gold Level = 20 visits or more to different clubs and earn: $75 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store.
Mini Club Coach - $20 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store and an Outstanding Member pin (in Canada only)
Awarded to those members who Coach a Club for a minimum of 5 meetings. Members must make prior arrangements with Club Growth Director cgd@d21tm.org to be assigned to a participating club. Members must Coach this club by attending no less than 5 meetings between November 1 – June 30, 2024. Members will utilize the “Club Coach Troubleshooting Guide” and the “How to Rebuild a Toastmaster Club Manual” and complete the Club Coaching module in Pathways as resources during this project. Once completed, a final report is to be submitted to the Club Growth Director at cgd@d21tm.org.

7 out of 7 club officers trained - Summer series - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
July1 – August 31 Club executives that get 7 officers trained in either training period will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store. This will be mailed to the current program year President.
7 out of 7 club officers trained - Fall/Winter series - $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters Store
November 1 – February 29 Club executives that get 7 officers trained in either training period will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store. This will be mailed to the current program year President.
Distinguished Club by June 30, 2024 - up to $100 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
Clubs that reach Distinguished status by the end of the program year will receive a gift certificate to the Toastmasters store in the following manner:
Distinguished: Will earn a $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store.
Select Distinguished: Will earn $50 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store.
Presidents Distinguished: Will earn $100 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store.
Renew 9 members by March 21 - enter a draw for $100 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
Is your club having challenges with low membership? Did you have 8 or less members on February 1, 2024?
Renew 9 club members by March 21, 2024 to be automatically entered into a draw for a $100 gift certificate for products from the TI online store.
Renew 20 members by March 21 - enter a draw for $100 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
Renew 20 or more club members by March 21, 2024 to be automatically entered into a draw for a $100 gift certificate for products from the TI online store.
Add 3 new members to your July 1/23 club base by March 31 - entered in a draw $100 gift certificate to the Toastmasters store
If your club does not qualify for the two March 21 incentives: Add 3 members to your July 1 member base by March 31, 2024 to be automatically entered into a draw for a $100 gift certificate at the TI online store.

Awarded to those Area Directors who achieve distinguished or better in the 2023-2024 program year.
